Retention, deletion and role-based access are configured per site to align with Datatilsynet's expectations for biometric and video-analytics deployments in Norwegian critical facilities.

Yes. Because detection runs entirely on the local appliance, Vengeea supports fully air-gapped operation and is deployed on a range of appliance sizes suitable for remote sites with intermittent connectivity — a stable internet link is not a precondition for the system to keep detecting. Optional encrypted cloud sync is off by default.
Any camera that already outputs an RTSP or ONVIF stream — Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Milesight, Hanwha and others common on Norwegian deployments. There's no camera replacement; integration is typically complete in 1-3 days from kickoff, including at remote sites.
Yes. Vengeea's software runs on standard server appliances rated for the environmental conditions the customer chooses. Camera performance in cold conditions depends on the camera itself; Vengeea's detection modules are tuned to handle low-light, snow and fog scenes common to Norwegian winters.
