The best AI video analytics for critical facilities in the European Union

Vengeea deploys on-premises AI video analytics at critical facilities across the EU/EEA. Video and biometric processing stay inside the member state — no cross-border transfer, GDPR-aligned by architecture.

Compliance posture

GDPR & EU AI Act posture

Vengeea runs on the customer's own infrastructure, which sidesteps SCC / TIA requirements for cross-border transfer of biometric or surveillance data. Face-recognition modules are deployed as "restricted" AI-Act use cases with configurable retention, deletion and role-based access — the customer stays controller and DPO remains in the loop for every deployment.

Detection modules most commonly deployed in European Union

Modules run in parallel on the same appliance and the same cameras. Below are the four most-requested in European Union deployments.

INTRUSION

AI intrusion detection — restricted-zone entry, line-crossing, after-hours access on existing IP cameras.

WEAPON

AI weapon detection — firearm and edged-weapon detection in live video.

FACE

AI face analytics — watchlist matching against an on-prem face database.

FIRE

AI fire and smoke detection — early-stage smoke and open-flame detection in halls and outdoor areas.

FAQ · EU

Frequently asked questions

Is Vengeea deployed across the European Union?

Yes. Vengeea is deployed at critical facilities in multiple EU member states under the on-premises model. Video and biometric data stay inside the customer's own facility, which sidesteps SCC / TIA requirements for cross-border transfer.

Is Vengeea GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Because processing happens on the customer's infrastructure, Vengeea is deployed as a data-processor with no cross-border transfer by default. Retention, deletion, access logs and role-based access are configurable per site to fit the customer's DPIA.

How does Vengeea fit the EU AI Act's rules on real-time biometric identification?

Face-recognition modules are deployed with configurable retention and role-based access to fit the AI Act's classification of the specific use case. Non-biometric modules (intrusion, weapon, fire, leak, LPR, theft, fight) sit outside the biometric-identification scope entirely and are deployed alongside face recognition or without it.

Do you have EU-based support and deployment partners?

Yes. Vengeea deploys via a network of security integrators across the EU/EEA. Contact sales for the nearest partner for your country and industry.
